Newbies to Advanced Intermediates learn and play NMJL and Taiwanese mah jongg tile games.

Who it is for

Beginner through Intermediate NMJL (American) Mah Jongg players. Also, people who want to learn to play the game by pre-registering in my 3.5 hr class. Email leader for class dates. We play at Fenney Rec Center beginning at 8:45am on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

What to expect

If you know how to play -- come and we'll find a table for you. If it's been a few months/years and you feel "rusty" -- come to our Beginner table. You'll quickly find your "lost" time will disappear. If you've taken my class (or another leader's class) and need to cement the rules you learned -- join my Beginner table where an experienced player will make sure you are playing by the rules and aren't making up your own. If you don't know anything about NMJL Mah Jongg -- contact Lynne Wagner for info on her upcoming class dates. Only ONE 3.5 hour class is needed, then you're off to the Beginner table. WE ALSO TEACH AND PLAY TAIWANESE MAHJONG. NO CLASS NEEDED.
